Ms. Currie received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Education and Psychology form the University of Southern Mississippi. Currently, she is a candidate for a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Mercer University.

Ms. Currie has worked with Federal TRIO Programs for over 10 years. The programs she's currently working with include

- Educational Opportunity Center
In addition, she has responsibilities for
- Minority Affairs
- Opportunity Scholars
Ms. Currie is also a point-of-contact for students who are a witness to or a victim of a discriminatory incident.

Kimberly Flanders, Academic Specialist (11th Grade Advisor)
Mrs. Flanders received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mercer University. She received a Master of Education in Community Agency Counseling from Auburn University. Mrs. Flanders began her career with Federal TRIO Programs in May of 2009.

Ashley Anderson, Academic Specialist (BHW)
Ashley Anderson is a native of Augusta, Georgia and a graduate of Georgia Southern University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She is an Educational Specialist for the Mercer University Upward Bound BHW program where she helps prepare high school students for post secondary education. At her former institution she was a member of the Minority Advisement Program that worked with incoming minority freshman, and she looks forward to sharing her knowledge and experience with other minority students at Mercer.
