Minority Affairs

Minority Student Program and Services are crucial to the retention and graduation of minority student in higher education. Since the expansion of the civil rights movement in the 1960s, minority student enrollment has increased nationally. Mercer strives to provide a campus climate that allows minority students to function within their unique cultural frameworks.

The Mercer Minority Affairs office provides, primarily, tutoring and mentoring to minority freshman students.
