Emily Piassick, Ph.D.
Director and licensed psychologist
Dr. Piassick received her doctoral degree in counseling psychology and her master's degree in higher education counseling from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Piassick completed her internship at the University of Texas Counseling and Mental Health Center. Prior to coming to Mercer, she was employed as a counselor at the YWCA of Greater Austin: Women's Counseling and Referral Center.
Brent Meyer, L.C.S.W.
Assistant director and licensed clinical social worker
Mr. Meyer received his master's degree in social work from the University of Chicago and bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Georgia. Mr. Meyer completed internships in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Prior to coming to Mercer, he began his career as an inpatient psychiatric social worker at St. Catherine Hospital's Behavioral Health Services department in the Chicago area. Following that he served as the head of social work for the Tallahassee Memorial Rehabilitation Center and was involved in an outpatient private practice.
Clinical Medical Psychology Intern
Ms. Pusser is currently enrolled in Mercer's Clinical Medical Psychology Ph.D. program and is working as an intern at Mercer's CAPS office.
Marriage and Family Therapy Intern
Ms. Durham is currently enrolled in Mercer's Master's of Marriage and Family Therapy and is working as an intern at Mercer's CAPS office.
SHAPE Graduate Assistant
Ms. Black is currently enrolled in Mercer's MBA program. She is the graduate assistant to the SHAPE program.
Lead Peer Educator - AWARE
Ms. Robinson is a senior at Mercer and is currently completing graduate level coursework to get a Master's degree from Mercer's engineering school. She works with the AWARE student program.
Ms. Adams currently serves as the administrative secretary for the CAPS department.
